About the NPA
Who
The National Preparatory Association (NPA) is spearheaded by North Pole Hoops (NPH) in conjunction with prep programs across the country. Each program has a high quality make up which includes 10-20+ years in contributions to Canadian basketball, quality personnel and a proven track record.
When
The NPA officially launched November 2016. The league takes place in the fall and winter with a National Champion crowned in March. WHY With Canadian basketball continuing to elevate to new heights, a National entity of this calibre is a necessity—a national basketball league operated with integrity where student-athletes are the top priority.

League games are played all across Ontario.
What
The NPA is a transparent, inclusive league designed to provide structure within amateur Canadian basketball at an elite level, while building culture for the game across the country. The NPA is evolving Canadian basketball, providing student-athletes an opportunity to play high level hoops on home soil, with an emphasis on development on and off the floor, accompanied with the highest form of exposure through North Pole Hoops (Live Broadcasting, Scouting, Media Coverage).
